Beth Stewart was raised in the suburban Philadelphia area until she was transplanted to San Diego by
her mother (“Muzzy”), who wanted to escape her memories and start anew elsewhere. Beth then moved to
Orange County in the early 80's where she married and pursued a career.
Banking on her highly proficient communication skills, Beth’s career focused mainly around
office work, spanning from the manager of the dating service, Great Expectations, to the worlds best corporate receptionist.
Her brilliant ability to multi-task was an invaluable addition to her various employers, particularly at the Lloyd Andersen
Group of Companies where Beth, Karlene, and Patricia first met and became friends. Beth was known aro und the office as “Bethie Fickie” because she could fix virtually anything. From a stubborn
copy machine to a ruffled telephone client to a tricky appointment schedule, Bethie Fickie could be relied on to save
the day.
In the workplace, Beth was also known for her impeccable appearance. With never a hair out of place or a hint of a chipped
nail, Beth’s style, good taste and grooming was legendary. Her outfits were always exquisitely accessorized, her shoes
and purse an exact match, and her make-up sculpted to perfection. Even casual day at work would find Beth in high-fashion
designer jeans and exclusive brand name shoes.
Today, Beth is happily retired and spends her days leisurely. She is
an avid video gamer and a member of the original fan base for Tower of Power, the famed Oakland-based soul band, who she frequently visits while on tour. She is a cancer survivor and an animal lover,
particularly of the feline persuasion. She has one daughter, Karen, who follows in her mother's (and grandmother's)
footsteps as being talented and extremely well spoken.
